As we head into the colder months, flu and Covid-19 can cause serious illness—especially for those most at risk. The good news is that you may be eligible for a free NHS vaccination at Court Street Medical Practice, and we are now taking bookings.

Who is eligible?

Flu vaccine

You can receive a free NHS flu vaccination if you are:

• Aged 65 and over

• Pregnant

• Living with certain long-term health conditions

• Living in a care home

• A carer for someone at risk

  
  

Covid-19 Autumn Booster

You can receive a free Covid-19 booster if you are:

• Aged 75 and over

• Living in a care home for older adults

• Immunosuppressed (aged 6 months and over)

  
  

When do vaccinations start?

Vaccinations for the 2025/26 flu season will begin from 1st October. Some patients may be eligible to receive their vaccine earlier.

How to book your appointment

We are in the process of sending out booking links via text message to eligible patients who have a valid mobile number on their medical record. This process takes time, so we ask for your patience while we work through it.

If you are eligible, you’ll receive a link to book your appointment quickly and easily online.

If you do not have a valid mobile number in your file, we will contact you via your landline or post.
